Воздадим почести всем тем, кто выковал эту победу трудом и потом, сталью и свинцом, будь то солдаты, в едином порыве вставшие против врага, или те, кто в тылу трудился, не покладая рук, верил и ждал. Сегодня это пожелание как никогда сильно — ибо хоть и настанет скоро День Победы в войне, но вместе с тем это и величайший символ мира!

С величайшим праздником этого мира, с наступающим Днём Победы!

Разработчики ответа на этот вопрос дать не пожелали, поэтому мы решили рассмотреть этот вопрос поподробнее. Кому, как не Новой Калифорнийской Республике, с их развивающейся наукой, промышленностью и доступом к осколкам довоенных технологий, поддерживать связь с внешним миром? И кому, как не Новой Калифорнийской Республике, более всех прочих увлечённой политикой, искать возрождения международных отношений? Особенно сейчас, когда война с Легионом ставит само существование государства под угрозу, а полем боя вот-вот станет Мохаве, жемчужина, отдавать которую нет никакого желания.

В таких условиях не мудрено обратиться за помощью к любому, кто в состоянии её предоставить, а уж плату за это Республика может обеспечить какую угодно…

Солдаты охраняют некоторые стратегически важные объекты, такие как торговые посты, отстреливают мутантов и рейдеров, в общем, помогают поддерживать порядок на территории.

Вдалеке от Пустошей, на землях НКР размещена небольшая оперативная база, на которой Курьер может купить стандартное снаряжение, заказать у прапорщика улучшенное, включая силовую броню и сапёрный скафандр, обеспечивающие высочайший уровень защиты, и взять несколько наёмничьих контрактов.

Чтобы попасть на базу — найдите «заблудившийся» бронеавтомобиль в дальнем обвалившемся тоннеле аэропорта Серчлайт — он и отвезёт куда нужно.

Несколько коротких заданий-контрактов, в ходе которых Курьеру предстоит встретиться с весьма опасными противниками, располагающими новым оружием и снаряжением.

Огромное количество нового оружия, одежды и защитного снаряжения, часть из которого может быть куплена на базе миротворцев, а часть — добыта в ходе выполнения заданий.
